Lucky 15 January 16th Update

10.45am What are you boys up to? All four put up last night have shortened and Kilbree Chief and Pikarnia have been smashed into favouritism! Remember when putting on your Lucky 15’s you want Best Odds Guaranteed. So that’s Happy Hour in Betfred, PP and Ladbrokes which is basically 11am to 1pm, but always check. Coral are law to themselves, need Connect card, it’s only one meeting and it’s after 12noon?

Ayr 2.20                      CLAN LEGEND                                12/1 PP 11/1 BetFred     NOW 9/1 tops

Ayr 2.55                      KILBREE CHIEF                        9/2 general                        NOW 5/2

Ayr 3.30                      PLUS JAMAIS              11/2 general                      NOW 4/1

Ayr 4.00                      PIKARNIA                    6/1 PP 11/2 general        NOW 4/1

Optimistic but still got to win!!

Cheltenham on my mind!

Regular readers know that I like to second guess the big owners to what they are going to run where and often that involves playing Willie Mullins Bingo!! However just liking starting a jigsaw when you try to do the corners first I think that Graham Wylie’s Cheltenham team is pretty straightforward. He has been pretty accessible to the media especially the Final Furlong Podcast with Emmett Kennedy and a pathetic minute on ITV4! So can anyone tell me why his colours won’t be carried by the following horses in the following races? Listed in chronological order.

Supreme – Crack Mome

Champion – Nicholls Canyon

Neptune – Invitation Only

RSA – Bellshill

Bumper – Ballyward

JLT – Yorkhill

Ryanair – Black Hercules

Stayers Hurdle – Shaneshill

Triumph – Meri Devie

Alfred Bartlett – Battleford

All of course trained by Willie Mullins. If I’m right could help shape the rest of the Mullins squad. Rich Ricci is going to be slightly more difficult but he does have the Championship horses!

Talking of Mullins here is a random thought. With Mullins having Elliott pushing him all the way for his beloved Irish Trainers title how many Mullins horses could be using Cheltenham as a prep for Punchestown?

Right back to sorting out Leopardstown at the weekend, Newbury/Market Rasen tomorrow and generally looking for OR150+ horses currently rated OR140!!
